The short version

This site is static pages. There are no accounts, no logins, no comment forms, and no newsletter. Nothing is collected that identifies you personally, and nothing is sold.

Analytics

The site uses Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which pages get read. GA4 sets cookies and collects your approximate location (city level, derived from IP), device and browser type, referring site, and which pages you view. IP addresses are anonymised by GA4 before storage.

This data is aggregated. It is not used to identify individuals and it is not combined with any other source.

To opt out entirely, use the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on, or any browser setting or extension that blocks analytics scripts. The site works normally without them.

Advertising

There are currently no ads on this site and no advertising code is served.

If that changes, Google AdSense would be the provider, and Google and its partners would use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other sites. You can control personalised advertising at Google Ads Settings and opt out of third-party vendor cookies at aboutads.info. This page will be updated before any ad code is deployed.

Hosting

The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which processes standard server request logs (IP address, user agent, timestamp) for security and delivery. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy.

Pages link to journals, PubMed, government nutrition databases, and similar sources. Those sites have their own privacy policies and this one does not apply to them.

Your rights

If you are in the EEA, UK, or California, you have rights of access, deletion, and objection regarding personal data. Because this site holds no personal data beyond anonymised analytics and server logs, there is generally nothing to retrieve or delete — but you can write to contact@sugarassignment.com with any request and it will be handled.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

Material changes to this policy will be reflected in the “last updated” date above.
